Lausanne Switzerland

Fall academic travel was spent with the 8th graders in and around Lausanne.

After a brutal 6 hour drive due to poor navigation of our bus driver, we arrived at the Bex salt mines.

Anyone claustrophobic? .....Good let's go!

A 100 meter well and no salt. That's a years worth of digging for nothing.

Riding the crazy train to the center of the mine.

Salt lick.

Next days stop was the Olympic Museum.

Every Olympic torch

On top of the museum looking at Lake Geneva.

Fall is on fire.

Stroll by the lake.

Blondies.

City Tour.

Chateau de Chillon.

An epicenter for witch-hunts in the middle ages, where 3,500 people were put to death, mainly by fire.

Ropes course for the monkeys and me.

Pre-500ft zip line.

Post zip line.

Vino land.

Our disgruntled driver.

Dusk over Lake Geneva.

Learning about energy and electricity at the Broc hydro plant.

Callier chocolate factory tour.

Like a kid in a candy store.

Drive home.
